SUPPORT THE INITIATIVE
Keep the archive open.
Chat Recorded exists to encourage greater awareness of personal AI conversation history — where it lives, how it can be exported, and whether people maintain a copy of their own.
We believe valuable conversations should not remain trapped inside a temporary interface. Research, decisions, creative work, learning and years of personal context deserve the opportunity to be preserved and used meaningfully.
Our hope is that this project can continue to be sustained by the people and organizations who find that mission useful.
If encouraging people to preserve their own digital history creates real value, we hope that value will be recognized — and that voluntary support can keep the core Chat Recorded reader available as a community utility.
Chat Recorded includes a rotating supporter strip on the main archive experience.
